Solar is very important to our students, teachers, and families all around Bozeman. Math, science and entrepreneur classes can learn about this real world situation. Math classes could calculate the surface area and volume of the solar panels and the perimeter and area of this array. Students could investigate how much money and energy the solar panels save. Science classes could learn about the environmental factors of these panels. Communication Arts classes could write about the panels. Social Studies classes could learn about the invention of these panels. Entrepreneur ACCESS class could also use solar panels for educational purposes. Students would learn about the money flow from the panels. This will be a great experience for school clubs too. The Outdoor Club, as well as the Robotics Club will be interested in the importance of these solar panels and the engineering behind them. As you can see, students would learn so much from these solar panels.
